If you are interested in using data from Palanan, please read the Terms & Conditions prior to submitting your Data Request Form.

Data Request: Our goal is to make the Palanan Forest Dynamics Plot (Palanan FDP) data available to all researchers and students. The maintenance of the Palanan FDP requires enormous field effort from the Principal Investigator (PI) and the team of researchers as well as continuing financial commitment by several parties, thus we require that the PI and/or a plot representative (as appropriate) be considered collaborators actively involved on any project making use of the data and therefore included as co-authors on any articles or presentations.

Non-transferability: To ensure that we can vouch for the accuracy of the data, as well as record every use of the Palanan FDP data, prospective investigators should not share the Palanan data with other parties not included on the Request for Data Access Proposal. Refer such a request to the PI for evaluation and appropriate response.

Citation: Any publication that uses Palanan FDP data should include the following reference:

Co, L., LaFrankie, J., Lagunzad, D., Pasion, K., Consunji, H., Bartolome, N., Yap, S., Molina, J., Tongco, M., Ferreras, U., Davies, S. and Ashton, P. 2006.
